1. Business, Site & Production Setup
We confirm the production site involved in the order and review the visible manufacturing setup, organisation and relevant production areas. Where an agent is involved, we also clarify the role of the agent and, where possible, the factory or factories actually responsible for production.
2. Quality Systems & Production Controls
Existing quality procedures, inspection points, production records and control practices are reviewed at a practical level to understand how the supplier manages consistency and non-conformities. The objective is to verify whether the quality approach observed on site supports the requirements of the order.
3. Working Conditions & Safety Observations
Visible workplace conditions are reviewed with attention to organisation, housekeeping, access, emergency routes, basic protective measures and other relevant health and safety observations. Where the client requires a recognised social-compliance or occupational-safety audit, that should be commissioned separately under the appropriate standard.
4. Sustainability, Materials & Traceability Claims
Sustainability or responsible-sourcing claims can be checked against the information and documentation made available by the supplier. This may include material certifications, declared recycled or preferred materials, environmental documentation, subcontracting information or traceability references relevant to the order. Claims are reported as verified, unverified or requiring further evidence rather than assumed to be valid.
5. Independent Findings & Confidence Check
The client receives a clear summary of what was observed, what could be supported by available evidence and what remains uncertain or needs further verification. This gives brands an additional independent reference when deciding whether to start, continue or deepen a relationship with a factory or agent.
