FINAL FOOTWEAR INSPECTION

Final Footwear Inspection in Portugal

PT Footwear | QC provides an independent final inspection of finished footwear before shipment, checking whether the order reflects the approved sample, product specification and agreed quality requirements. The focus is the product itself: conformity, workmanship, sizing, pair consistency and visible functional details.

Clients keep the commercial relationship directly with their factory or agent while PT Footwear | QC provides an objective view of the finished goods on the ground in Portugal. The inspection gives the client clear findings to support the shipment decision; it does not transfer responsibility for product quality away from the manufacturer.

WHAT WE INSPECT

A final independent view of the finished product

1. Approved Sample & Specification Conformity

Finished footwear is checked against the approved reference sample, product specification and client requirements. Style, colour, materials, components, branding, construction details and other defined characteristics are reviewed for consistency with what was approved.

2. Workmanship & Visible Defects

The inspection looks for visible defects and inconsistencies in areas such as stitching, bonding, lasting, sole or heel attachment, finishing, marks, wrinkles, colour variation, loose threads, component positioning and other workmanship points relevant to the footwear being inspected.

3. Pair Consistency, Sizing & Functional Details

Left and right shoes are assessed as a pair for shape, symmetry, colour and finishing. Size marking, relevant measurements, closures and other visible functional details are checked where specified, helping confirm that finished pairs are consistent with the client’s requirements.

4. Order Consistency & Defect Pattern

The inspected sample is reviewed for repeated or significant defects and for consistency across styles, colours or sizes included in the order. Where the client has defined an inspection standard, sampling method or acceptance criteria, these can be applied as agreed for the inspection.

5. Findings, Evidence & Shipment Decision Support

Findings are documented with written observations and photographic evidence where relevant. The report distinguishes what was observed from what remains uncertain, giving the client an independent basis for deciding whether to approve shipment, request corrective action or carry out further checks.
